For over 60 years, Moores has worked to establish itself as a brand that is proud of its British heritage and cares about the environment and sustainability, working tirelessly to ensure these themes are prominent throughout the products and culture of the company.

Based in Wetherby, West Yorkshire, Moores work nationally to provide quality kitchen and bathroom furniture into people’s homes, whether this is through a house builder, local council or retail outlets. Moores wanted to give both home owners and business customers the chance to see Moores’ fantastic factory in action, and the processes involved in creating the perfect kitchen and bathroom furniture.

With that in mind, Moores has developed a YouTube video tour of the factory showcasing how the various units are made and Moores’ commitment to sustainability. The video features the factory’s wood waste extractor which sends waste to a bio-mass boiler, which was one of the first of its kind installed in Britain. The boiler uses extracted waste from the factory to fuel the surrounding facilities, with any remaining waste being responsibly recycled into chip board.

The tour also takes viewers through the processes involved in creating the various elements of kitchen and bathroom furniture; from the doors and frames, to edging and finishes. This informative tour showcases the quality that underpins each Moores product.

The information contained in the video is useful for all Moores' customers, as it allows them to engage and familiarise themselves with the inner workings of Moores and the responsible nature of its products.
